Every team was rebuilding the same components slightly differently, so the product looked like it came from four companies. I built the shared system, wrote down the decisions behind it, and did the unglamorous work of getting the org to actually adopt it.

The product shipped in one language, and bolting on the rest turned every string into a small argument about layout. I made internationalization structural — extraction, pluralization, and right-to-left handled once — so a new locale became configuration rather than a rewrite.
Audited dependencies and lazy-loaded routes; the main bundle shrank 30% with no feature loss.
The UI updated in fits and starts and the loading states were an afterthought, so the app felt slower than it actually was. I reworked the data-fetching and the transitions until the interface felt instant even when the network wasn't, and perceived speed did the rest.
